This past weekend, Encores! brought back the classic Tony Award-winning musical about how the founding fathers drafted the Declaration of Independence and gave birth to a new nation. 

Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Laura Osnes, well-known Broadway star who was born and raised in Eagan, Minnesota, knew from the beginning she was a performer. Her education paved the way for her current status, and now she's giving back to students in Minnesota via the Spotlight Education program by Hennepin Theatre Trust as it's spokesperson.
