THE SPIRIT OF SANTA by Peter Hackmeister is Released

Now there's a succinct, wonderful and truthful way for parents to have 'that talk' when their kids say, 'Billy said Santa Claus isn't real.' The response to that statement is presented simply, logically and warmly in the short story 'The Spirit of Santa' by author Peter Hackmeister. 'The Spirit of Santa' lets kids fondly bring Santa along into every one of their Christmases for the rest of their lives, and pass his tradition on to their children, as well. Drawing on personal experience, Mr. Hackmeister created this honest story for his own children. 'Every parent knows that there comes a day when their children question the existence of Santa,' he said. 'You hate to see that wide-eyed wonder fade away. I told this story to my kids so the Spirit of Santa would remain joyful and true for them.' It truly is the perfect Christmas gift for the whole family. Actual Amazon customer reviews of 'The Spirit of Santa' have been grateful and sincere: 1) 'What a simple, heartfelt way to deal with one of a parent's most sensitive challenges. I'll save it for my grandchildren.' 2) 'I always hated lying about Santa Claus to my kids. I wish I had read this many years ago. It describes how 'Yes there is a Santa Claus' wonderfully well.' 3) 'This tiny gem explains the true meaning of Santa and how he came about. It opened my son's eyes.' 'The Spirit of Santa' is now available to everybody worldwide free for five days on Amazon's Kindle platform starting Wednesday morning, December 9 through Sunday evening, December 13, 2015. After that date it can be downloaded for $0.99. Click here - http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AP84JMM Kindle books can be read on any device: smartphone, tablet or computer. The free app is also available at this link. Mr. Hackmeister is a carpenter, author, serial entrepreneur, and inventor with three patents. He developed the original patent on what is now known as streaming video.

BWW Review: Candlelight Pavilion Goes HOME FOR CHRISTMAS

There's no finer Christmas entertainment than an original story about home and family that has lots of humor, music and more than enough touches of magic...and of course, several kids and, to top it all off, Santa and Mrs. Claus. That's pretty much it in a nutshell with Home For Christmas, 2015's holiday show currently onstage at Candlelight Pavilion in Claremont through December 27. It's a whole lot of imaginative fun that you cannot afford to miss.

The West Coast Premiere of playwright Neil Haven's WHO KILLED SANTA? features wonderful puppet work and clever re-workings of classic holiday songs. BWW Review: The Fox Theatre Presents Eye-Popping CIRQUE DREAMS HOLIDAZE

Neil Goldberg who created and directed CIRQUE DREAMS HOLIDAZE, wanted to create a Cirque show that was not only family-friendly, but one that could tour the country. His ideas, based partly on his own ornament collection, came to fruition with this unique holiday extravaganza. It's filled with music (some original by Jill Winters and David Scott, as well as Lance Conque and Tony Aliperti), but also a number of familiar seasonal favorites), incredible circus performers (sans animals, of course, although some performers portray different ones, like rope-skipping reindeers), and a colorful staging that's incredibly busy with movement. This eye-popping show is currently playing The Fox Theatre through December 6, 2015.

A disgruntled elf at Christmas time? Well,  I'm sure everyone remembers Hermey, the wanna be dentist elf featured in Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, who was unsatisfied with his elfin duties. But another elf story has become a holiday tradition on NPR and in regional theatres across the US. Humorist David Sedaris' THE SANTALAND DIARIES is playing  at Roadless Traveled Theatre and making quite an impression on holiday theatre goers.
