THE FULL MONTY, LITTLE WOMEN & More Set for Theatre Aspen's 2014 Season

Award-winning Theatre Aspen announced the lineup for its 31st season today. The Hurst Theatre will open with the musical comedy The Full Monty, running in repertory with the musical Little Women, and a brand new comedy by Sandy Rustin called The Cottage. Casting begins early in 2014.

Monday, October 21st was a luminous night for DO40, panelists, performers - and especially the sold-out audience who attended Dancers Over 40's latest panel and performance, this time honoring Director/Choreographer Ron Field. Along with seven members from the original production, on hand were Marge Champion, Sandy Duncan & Don Correia, Joel Grey, Donna McKechnie, Lee Roy Reams and Ben Vereen. A star-studded night, indeed for DO40!

American Stage Theatre Company is excited to announce their 2013-2014 season opening production, THE BIRDS by the acclaimed Irish Playwright Conor McPherson (The Seafarer). Previews are tonight and tomorrow, October 2 & 3. Opening Night is October 4 and the production runs through October 27.

WaterTower Theatre (WTT) has announced the election of Derek Blount as President of the Board of Directors, serving for a fourth term. WTT also announced the election of a slate of Board Officers including Vice President, Ben Cunningham, Secretary, Katie Myatt, and Treasurer, Jimmy Niemann.

Marlo Thomas to Lead World Premiere of Joe DiPietro's CLEVER LITTLE LIES at George Street Playhouse; Performances to Begin 11/19

George Street Playhouse and Artistic Director David Saint have announced the casting of MARLO THOMAS, award-winning actress of stage and screen, in the world premiere production of Clever Little Lies, by Tony Award-winner JOE DiPIETRO (rescheduled from the 2012-13 season). Mr. Saint will helm the production, slated to take the stage in New Brunswick, November 19 - December 22. The remainder of the cast will be announced at a later date.

All shows run through late August.
