For the eighth installment of the Duct Tape and A Dream festival, Roots and Wings Theatrical will showcase six dynamic projects divided between two programs running in repertory May 6-10, 2015. The festival consists of a 'Duct Tape' Program and a 'Dream' Program and encompasses engaging and imaginative works which include everything from dance & movement, comedy & drama, devised work, and musical cabaret. The programs will play in rotation at Theatre 54 at 244 West 54th Street, 12th Floor, New York, New York 10019 for five days with 29 artists sharing the stage.

Nylon Fusion Theatre Company presents an unflinching look at the Hollywood machine and the secrets and lies that feed it, in Joseph Samuel Wright's Unmentionables. Directed by Montserrat Mendez, Unmentionables will be performed at Theatre 54, located at 224 West 54th Street, between tonight, April 2 and April 19. Members of the press are invited as of Saturday, April 4th.

Nylon Fusion Theatre Company announces their Short Play Festival "This Round's On Us" on February 20-21, featuring eleven new plays in two sets. Guest writers include Michael Puzzo and Don Nigro. Gotham's John Doman plays President McKinley in Nigro's new play Front Porch. Hosted by Lori Kee.

For the seventh installment of the Duct Tape and A Dream Festival, Roots and Wings Theatrical will showcase six dynamic projects divided between two programs running in repertory May 14-18, 2014. The festival consists of a "Duct Tape" Program and a "Dream" Program. Each program has something to offer for all audiences. The festival is truly eclectic with plays written by emerging artists exploring a variety of subjects such as linguistics, death in the family, things you may have learned in your 20s, and modern adaptations of classics (see: Crutchfield's Pe[t]er Gynt inspired by Ibsen's Peer Gynt). The programs will play in rotation at Theatre 54 at 244 West 54th Street, 12th Floor, New York, New York 10019 for five days with 42 artists sharing the stage.

This May Bricken and Birch Productions is pleased to present Vacation- All I Ever Wanted!, directed by Lori Kee as part of the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity 2014. The Festivity will take place May 12 through June 8 at the Paradise Factory.

Nylon Fusion Collective gets into the Halloween spirit with The Round's On Us, a collection of one-act works offering up intense drama and laughs about the frightening, the freaky and the just plain fun at the Gene Frankel Theatre, located at 24 Bond Street. Performed in two separate sets, the one-acts will showcased at 7pm and 9pm on October 29th and 30th.

For the sixth installment of the Duct Tape and A Dream Festival, collaborative new works company Roots and Wings will showcase eight fresh premiers divided between two programs running in repertory May 15th-19th, 2013: A "Duct Tape" Program and a "Dream" Program. Both nightly programs are anchored by one longer piece and feature three shorter new works. The festival is truly eclectic including dance, clowning, devised theatre, a multi-media show, and new plays exploring a variety of subjects all written by emerging artists. The programs will play in rotation at the Bridge Theatre @ Shetler Studios, 244 West 54th Street, 12th Floor.

"This Round's On Us" - After the Fool... is the second fundraising event of the year to support Nylon Fusion Theatre Company's 6th Season. The festival will feature plays by new and notable playwrights, including Kristina Poe, a longtime member of LAByrinth Theater Company, James Harmon Brown, best known for his work on All My Children, and Jack Karp, a member of Nylon Fusion and winner of the David Mamet Playwriting Competition, whose recent play Incendiary Agents, presented at The New Ohio, performed to sold-out houses.

RISE will play a three-week limited engagement at Theatre 54 (244 W. 54th Street, 12th Floor). Performances begin tonight, April 5 and continue through Saturday, April 20. THEATERSPEAK will present an installation of more than 70 award-winning and emerging playwrights writing new plays in the storefront window of the Drama Book Shop during store hours, August 13th - September 1st, In each two-hour time slot, a different playwright will write their play on a laptop, while the screen shot of their computer is visible to the street, opening their process up to the passerby on the street. Consisting of three timeless tales with more than a little laughter, tears, irony and a pinch of The Twilight Zone, and told against the backdrop of the presidential inaugurations of Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama, Miss Hope's will be open for business starting tonight, May 23rd at the Sargent Theatre at the American Theatre of Actors, located at 314 West 54th Street. Miss Hope's is directed by David Triacca, and written by Jack Karp, Alisha Silver and Joseph Samuel Wright of the Nylon Fusion Writers Collective.
