Wise Music Group has signed a long-term agreement with Portuguese composer Vasco Mendonça. The Lowell Chamber Orchestra will present 'LCO Pride: A Rainbow of Repertoire' on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Middlesex Community College in Lowell, Massachusetts. This chamber concert will celebrate Pride Month by showcasing LGBTQ+ composers from the Lowell area and around the world.

The San Diego Symphony today announced its 2022-23 Jacobs Masterworks Classical concert season, offering 16 programs of classical and contemporary masterworks from October 1, 2022 through May 27, 2023. 

The Bard Music Festival returns for its 32nd season this August, with an intensive two-week exploration of “Rachmaninoff and His World.” In twelve themed concert programs, Bard examines Sergei Rachmaninoff (1873–1943), perhaps the last great exponent of Russian Romanticism, who nevertheless embodied many contradictions.

The University Musical Society has announced its 144th season, which runs from September 2022 through April 2023.

Artist Series Concerts of Sarasota presents the Vieness Piano Duo in recital as part of the State College of Florida’s Pianopalooza Festival, Sunday, May 8 at 3:00 pm, in the SCF Studio for Performing Arts Recital Hall, 5840 26th Street West, Bradenton. A benefit concert for Ukraine, Concert of Compassion, will be held Monday, May 9 at 7:30 p.m., at the historic Congregation Sherith Israel, 2266 California Street. Fiscally sponsored by The Resonance Project and produced by Jonathan Dimmock and Lukáš Janata, the Concert of Compassion will present an array of international classical music talent including renowned mezzo-soprano Frederica von Stade; award-winning composer and pianist Jake Heggie; musicians from the San Francisco Symphony; members of the Artists’ Vocal Ensemble; The Bay Brass; Orthodox Bells authority Victor Avdienko; Ukrainian soprano Alina Ilchuk; baritone Eugene Brancoveanu; bass Matt Boehler and other artists soon-to-be-announced.
