South Coast Repertory has lined up a slate of talented actors and directors to bring to life the five staged readings in this year's 13th annual Pacific Playwrights Festival (PPF), which takes place April 23-25.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater will conclude its 15th Anniversary season with the world premiere of The Aliens, by Annie Baker (Circle Mirror Transformation, Body Awareness). Directed by Sam Gold (Circle Mirror Transformation, Rag and Bone), performances begin Wednesday, April 14th, 2010. Opening night is Thursday, April 22nd at 7pm. The show is scheduled to run through Sunday, May 23rd, 2010.

Dusk Rings a Bell, written by Stephen Belber will be performed at Atlantic Stage 2 as Atlantic Theater Company's final production of the season. The play will be directed by Sam Gold and will run May 19-June 20. Performances take place Tuesday-Saturday at 7:30 PM and Saturday and Sunday at 2:30 PM.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis, Executive Director Andrew D. Hamingson) will present free staged readings of new plays by the 2009 Emerging Writers Group, beginning Thursday, February 25 with an 'Evening of Excerpts' by the nine emerging playwrights.
