After months of anticipation, the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child finally begins previews at the Palace Theatre in the West End this week. The new play is a collaboration between Potter creator J.K. Rowling, playwright Jack Thorne and director John Tiffany, and stars Jamie Parker as Harry Potter, Poppy Miller as Ginny Potter, Sam Clemmett as Albus Potter, Paul Thornley as Ron Weasley, Noma Dumezweni as Hermione Granger, Cherrelle Skeete as Rose Granger-Weasley, Alex Price as Draco Malfoy, Anthony Boyle as Scorpius Malfoy.

In the first of three sets of Charlie Gray's Harry Potter and the Cursed Child portraits, joining the previously announced Jamie Parker as Harry Potter are Poppy Miller who will play Ginny Potter and Sam Clemmett who will play Albus Potter. Previews for Part One of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will begin on 7 June with previews of Part Two starting 9 June 2016. Full casting is announced for the Royal Shakespeare Company's (RSC) family winter production of Wendy & Peter Pan. A magical adaptation of JM Barrie's classic novel by Ella Hickson, the show returns to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre following the productions acclaimed success in 2013.

Full casting is announced for Emlyn Williams' masterpiece Accolade directed by award-winning director Blanche McIntyre. Alexander Hanson and Abigail Cruttenden lead the company as Will and Rona Trenting, with Bruce Alexander (Daker), Sam Clemmett (Ian Trenting), Claire Cox (Marion Tillyard), Daniel Crossley (Albert), Olivia Darnley (Phyllis), Jay Taylor (Harold) and Jay Villiers (Thane Lampeter). Accolade - produced by Nicola Seed - is the final production in Stage One's One Stage season at the St James Theatre.
