Stefanie Powers to Star as Norma Desmond in Ogunquit Playhouse Production of Sunset Boulevard The Ogunquit Playhouse announces that the legendary star of stage and screen Stefanie Powers will portray Norma Desmond in this summer's production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's International sensation Sunset Boulevard on stage July 28 through August 14.

The Saint Michael's Playhouse stages ALWAYS . . . PATSY CLINE, concluding the 2010 season of Equity professional summer theater, in the McCarthy Arts Center at Saint Michael's College. The show runs, July 27 - 31 and August 3 - 7, each evening at 8 p.m., with matinees, July 31 and August 7 at 2 p.m.

This July 23 - August 1, Cabrillo Music Theatre will present Rodgers and Hammerstein's CINDERELLA at the Fred Kavli Theatre (Musical Theatre). Featured as the Fairy Godmother will be 'All in the Family' comedian Sally Struthers.

Cabrillo Music Theatre has announced their upcoming shows in the 2010 - 2011 season. The Sound of Music, the perennial favorite about a problem named Maria, graces the Ogunquit stage from June 30 through July 24.

One of the most successful musicals of all time, Dan Goggin's NUNSENSE will celebrate its silver birthday this summer with a 25th anniversary production presented by the Off-Broadway Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce St. in Manhattan) -- where the hilarious musical comedy about the Little Sisters of Hoboken debuted Off-Broadway in 1985 - with performances beginning June 15 and running through July 18, 2010, it has been announced by Angelina Fiordellisi, Artistic Director of Cherry Lane Theatre and herself a former member of the cast of NUNSENSE in 1987.
