The Merce Cunningham Dance Company (MCDC) announced today details of the final year of its Legacy Tour, which will bring the company to more than 25 cities around the world and includes a series of four engagements in New York City, the Company's home since its founding in 1953.

Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater is delighted to present The Arabian Nights, written and directed by Tony Award winner Mary Zimmerman (Metamorphoses). The production, presented in association with Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Kansas City Repertory Theatre and Lookingglass Theatre Company, has been recognized as 'Zimmerman's most theatrically complete and perfect creation' (Chicago Tribune). The Arabian Nights explores the humanity that people across all cultures share, as told through a whimsical, imaginative and compelling story. The Arabian Nights runs January 14-February 20, 2011 in the Fichandler Stage.

Theater Schmeater is currently presenting a departure from the typical holiday fare with the World Premiere of local playwright Marcy Rodenborn's tale of middle aged punkstresses making a comeback, "Vestal Virgins". The show, while not groundbreaking, is a fresh, funny and wicked twist on a typical plot device as only Schmeater and Rodenborn can deliver.

NBC Sports presents live coverage of the Winter Dew Tour from Breckenridge, Colo., the first of three stops of the Winter Dew Tour's junior season. The three-stop tour features over 150 of the best winter action sports athletes competing for their sport's only regular season crown - the Winter Dew Cup - and a $1.5 million prize purse. NBC Sports' live coverage of Snowboard Halfpipe airs Saturday at 2:30 p.m. ET, and taped coverage of Skiing Slopestyle airs at 4 p.m. ET on Sunday. USA Network will air late-night coverage of Freeski Halfpipe Saturday at midnight ET and Snowboard Slopestyle Sunday, at 2 a.m. ET.
