This fresh new production features direction by David Lee (Frasier, Cheers) and choreography by Patti Colombo (Paper Mill's Peter Pan, On the Town, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers). The show features a book by Abe Burrows (Guys and Dolls, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying) and a re-crafted script by Joel Fields (Ugly Betty, The Americans) andDavid Lee. Can-Can's score features some of Cole Porter's timeless classics including 'I Love Paris,' 'C'est Magnifique,' 'It's All Right With Me' and more. Paper Mill Playhouse is launching this Broadway-bound production of Cole Porter's classic musical with producing partner Jonathan Burrows. Can-Can will play the Millburn, New Jersey, theater from October 1 through October 26, 2014. Tickets go on sale in the Fire Island Pines Harbor this Memorial Day weekend for the much-anticipated 20th anniversary of Fire Island Dance Festival, which is set for July 18-20, 2014. Some of the most-talked-about dancers and dance companies in the country will offer an exciting mix of Broadway, ballet, Hawaiian and modern dance. The festival, performed outdoors on the beautiful Great South Bay, is produced by and benefits Dancers Responding to AIDS, a program of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Since its humble beginnings in 1995, the festival has grown to become the cultural and charitable event of the summer in Fire Island Pines, raising more than $3.3 million.

For their final episode of 2013, The Ensemblist put out a call through social media for listeners to submit their own questions. Fans submitted questions through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and at theensemblist.com. The result is this supersized, action-packed episode featuring interviews with Broadway actors Lauren Molina, Shina Ann Morris, Chelsea Packard, Andy Richardson, Nic Rouleau, Alena Watters and Ryan Worsing.
On Thursday night, the cast of Chicago, including Bianca Marroquin, Amra-Faye Wright, Ryan Silverman, Christopher Fitzgerald, and Roz Ryan celebrated the show's 17th year on Broadway with a special cake-cutting.
