Elevator Repair Service's MEASURE FOR MEASURE Bows This Sunday at The Public

A friendly reminder! The Public Theater will begin previews this Sunday, September 17 for Measure for Measure, created by Elevator Repair Service, part of The Public's Astor Anniversary Season at their landmark downtown home on Lafayette Street, celebrating 50 years of new work at 425 Lafayette Street and the 50th Anniversary of HAIR.

The Wooster Group to Stage 'THE B-SIDE' and EARLY SHAKER SPIRITUALS

The Wooster Group will present the premiere of its newest work, THE B-SIDE: Negro Folklore from Texas State Prisons A Record Album Interpretation in October, followed by a limited return engagement of the Group's 2014 piece, EARLY SHAKER SPIRITUALS: A Record Album Interpretation in December.

The Wooster Group Extends Harold Pinter's THE ROOM

The Wooster Group announces a one-week extension to their advance showings of THE ROOM by Harold Pinter at The Performing Garage in New York City. This limited engagement offers New York audiences an advance look at the Group's newest production before it opens in Los Angeles at REDCAT, February 4-14, 2016. THE ROOM will open in New York the following season.

Ice Factory 2015 will present seven new works over seven weeks, running from June 24 - August 8, 2015.

The Wooster Group to Premiere New Works at St. Ann's This Spring

St. Ann's Warehouse, which has long provided a second New York home for The Wooster Group, will present two new works by the company this spring: the New York Premiere of Cry, Trojans! (Troilus & Cressida), March 24 - April 19; and a remounting of Early Shaker Spirituals: A Record Album Interpretation, April 23 - May 4. Both runs are strictly limited and cannot be extended. The upcoming engagement marks both The Wooster Group's first performances at the St. Ann's Warehouse interim theater at 29 Jay Street in DUMBO, and St. Ann's final presentation in the space, before the organization moves to its permanent home in the historic Tobacco Warehouse in Brooklyn Bridge Park this fall.
