In this week's PEOPLE Magazine, February 7, 2011 issue, Lea Michele writes 'Why I Love Barbra' and says that, 'I grew up in this typical New Jersey town where everyone looked the same. If you didn't have a nose job, you were about to. Agents and casting directors told me to get one, but my mother said, ‘Barbra Streisand never did- and neither are you.'

'GLEE Project' Reality Casting Show to Premiere in June

According to Reuters, THE GLEE PROJECT, which will go behind the scenes of casting a guest spot for FOX's hit musical comedy, has been attracting thousands of auditionees around the world. Twelve finalists have been chosen from the initial 40,000 that have auditioned for the reality show, which will air on Oxygen in June.

GLEE Announces Summer 2011 UK Concert Tour; US Next?

GLEE has just announced it's first UK Concert Tour which will take place in the Summer of 2011. The first dates have been announced at London's O2 Arena, for 25-26 of June and 22 of June at Manchester's MEN Arena, and in Dublin, Ireland 2-3 of July. More dates are expected to be announced shortly for both the US and for Europe.

Reports are circulating that some Glee members will face the axe by 2012. GLEE creator Ryan Murphy has vowed to keep the show as true to traditional high school as possible, by planning to phase out characters who will graduate McKinley High, move on, and be replaced by new freshmen faces. He has nominated the end of the 2012 season as the likely start for cast exits.'Every year we're going to populate a new group,' Murphy says. 'There's nothing more depressing than a high schooler with a bald spot.
