Fourth Contestant Eliminated from THE GLEE PROJECT

During last night's episode of Oxygen's 'The Glee Project,' the final nine contenders performed a rhythmic performance of MC Hammer's 1990 signature song, 'Can't Touch This.' Under the guidance of 'Glee' guest mentor Harry Shum Jr. ('Glee's' Mike Chang) the group was coached on their moves, forcing many of them to face their toughest challenge yet - 'Dance Ability.' Darren Criss ('Glee's' Blaine) returns as a guest mentor in next Sunday's all-new episode. During the episode fans will also be prompted to find a secret word and enter a watch-and-win sweepstakes at Oxygen.com (http://www.thegleeproject.oxygen.com). One lucky winner will win a phone call from their favorite contender. ‘The Glee Project' Contender Call sweepstakes will only be available from 9PM to 1AM ET Sunday evening.

GLEE creator Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and cast members of the the show are set to participate in this year's Comic Con, which will feature a sneak peek at never-before-seen footage and behind-the-scenes secrets, followed by a Q&A session in which fans can ask everything they ever wanted to know about the Golden Globe-winning series. Allison Janney Set for Chris Colfer's 'Struck By Lightning' Film

Chris Colfer has written and will star in an upcoming film about a teen who gets 'Struck By Lightning,' Variety reports. Colfer is best known for his portrayal of Kurt Hummel on Glee, for which he has received several nominations and awards, including the Golden Globe award for Best Supporting Actor in 2011.

As previously reported, an Annie remake is in the works, produced by Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, Jay-Z and partners, and starring the Smith's youngest, Willow. No other casting has been revealed (Willow has, however, expressed her wish for Brad Pitt to step into the shoes of Daddy Warbucks), and while for a time it seemed GLEE's Ryan Murphy was in talks to direct, it appears those talks are off, according to published reports.
Today, New York Magazine reveals that Will Smith has called upon Emma Thompson, with whom he is currently starring in Men in Black III, to readapt John Huston's screenplay for the latest reincarnation of the famous story.

All of the GLEE students who are currently juniors within the show's plot will be graduating at the end of next season, the show's creator confirmed today. 'We didn't want to have a show where they were in high school for eight years,' Ryan Murphy told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show. 'We really wanted to be true to that experience.'

The new additions to the staff include: Allison Adler, Marti Noxon, Michael Hitchcock, Matt Hodgson, Ross Maxwell, and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, who just finished working on SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK.

During last night's series debut of Oxygen's 'The Glee Project,' the 12 contenders performed an energetic rendition of Katy Perry's mega-hit 'Firework.' Under the tutelage of 'Glee' guest mentor Darren Criss ('Glee's' Blaine), the group was coached on the theme of ‘Individuality' and how to stand out while being true to your personality. At the conclusion of the premiere episode, 'Glee' hopeful Bryce Ross-Johnson (22) of Westlake Village, CA was the first contender to be eliminated. Bryce was tasked with performing Bruno Mars' 'Just the Way You Are' for 'Glee' creator Ryan Murphy as a last chance - but the show must go on! The remaining 11 contenders will face their next ‘Glee'-inspired challenge on Sunday, June 19th at 9pm ET/PT, only on Oxygen.
