During last night's episode of Oxygen's 'The Glee Project,' the final nine contenders performed a rhythmic performance of MC Hammer's 1990 signature song, 'Can't Touch This.' Under the guidance of 'Glee' guest mentor Harry Shum Jr. ('Glee's' Mike Chang) the group was coached on their moves, forcing many of them to face their toughest challenge yet - 'Dance Ability.' Darren Criss ('Glee's' Blaine) returns as a guest mentor in next Sunday's all-new episode. During the episode fans will also be prompted to find a secret word and enter a watch-and-win sweepstakes at Oxygen.com (http://www.thegleeproject.oxygen.com). One lucky winner will win a phone call from their favorite contender. ‘The Glee Project' Contender Call sweepstakes will only be available from 9PM to 1AM ET Sunday evening.

Harry Shum Jr., who was promoted to a GLEE series regular for the upcoming season, was the guest mentor on THE GLEE PROJECT this week.

Chris Colfer has written and will star in an upcoming film about a teen who gets 'Struck By Lightning,' Variety reports. Colfer is best known for his portrayal of Kurt Hummel on Glee, for which he has received several nominations and awards, including the Golden Globe award for Best Supporting Actor in 2011.

As previously reported, an Annie remake is in the works, produced by Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, Jay-Z and partners, and starring the Smith's youngest, Willow. Ryan Murpher, executive producer of 'Glee,' is hard at work crafting the third season of his hit series. Some amiliar faces will be graduating, others will stay behind. The same musical prowess permiating the show's success will continue, but it might be scaled back. How about only one tribute episode?

In the short amount of time since GLEE hit the airwaves, the series has racked up two Platinum and two Gold albums, two Grammy Award nominations, more than 22 million song downloads, the No. 1 soundtrack of 2010 ('The Christmas Album') and an incredible 19 Emmy and 11 Golden Globe nominations, as well as four Emmy Awards and three Golden Globes, including the award for Best Television Series Comedy or Musical.

The second season of GLEE might be over, but creator Ryan Murphy still has lots going on, with his new spinoff 'The Glee Project' premiering just over a week ago. Murphy told the LA Times: 'I think we learned one big lesson which is don't put a musical comedy reality show opposite the Tony Awards ... or the NBA Finals.'

All of the GLEE students who are currently juniors within the show's plot will be graduating at the end of next season, the show's creator confirmed today. 'We didn't want to have a show where they were in high school for eight years,' Ryan Murphy told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show. 'We really wanted to be true to that experience.'

At the conclusion of the premiere episode, 'Glee' hopeful Bryce Ross-Johnson (22) of Westlake Village, CA was the first contender to be eliminated. Bryce was tasked with performing Bruno Mars' 'Just the Way You Are' for 'Glee' creator Ryan Murphy as a last chance - but the show must go on! The remaining 11 contenders will face their next ‘Glee'-inspired challenge on Sunday, June 19th at 9pm ET/PT, only on Oxygen.
