CHICAGO veterans Bianca Marroquin and Ruthie Henshall will each return to the role of Roxie Hart yet again, in the upcoming months. Marroquin will play the merry murderess from April 15 through April 25 and the original London Roxie will play the role from April 26 through June 13.

Broadway In Chicago will end its run of the award-winning worldwide smash-hit musical, Disney's Beauty and the Beast on April 4th. The production is produced by NETworks Presentations.

Ruthie Henshall, currently starring as ‘Roxie Hart' in the West End production of 'CHICAGO' at the Cambridge Theatre in Covent Garden's Seven Dials, will end her run in the production on April 24, 2010 after multiple extensions. Ruthie Henshall originated the role of ‘Roxie Hart' in 1997 - for which she was lauded by the critics and nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award - when 'CHICAGO' first conquered the West End.

Broadway In Chicago is thrilled to present the award-winning worldwide smash-hit musical, Disney's Beauty and the Beast. This week we are taking a listen to two wonderful releases from Broadway and West End luminaries John Barrowman and Elaine Paige. Ruthie Henshall originated the role of ‘Roxie Hart' in 1997 - for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award - when 'CHICAGO' first conquered the West End. As Ruthie Henshall is contracted to other commitments for selected performances between 28 December - 2 January, Bonnie Langford will play the role of ‘Roxie' for these performances. Bonnie comes to London direct from playing the role of ‘Roxie' on Broadway.

NDNU Theatre is proud to present the 24th annual production of The Gift: A Christmas Carol the Musical, based on the story by Charles Dickens and featuring an exciting musical score written by Alan Menken, with lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, and book by Mike Ockrent and Lynn Ahrens. The latest installment of this community gem will once again be directed by Michael B Elkins, NDNU'S Chair of the Department of Theater and Dance. The Gift: A Christmas Carol the Musical will play a special limited engagement from December 4 - 13 with an official opening night of December 4 @ 7:00 PM.

The concert, which will be broadcast live on the internet in real time, features an overture written by Blank in addition to Johnny Mercer standards such as Moon River and Days of Wine and Roses with the BBC Concert orchestra and singers, Ruthie Henshall, Sally Ann Triplett, Nigel Harman and Curtis Stigers.
