Rubicon Theatre Company opens its 2012-2013 15th Season with La Razon Blindada, running now through November 11, 2012 in Ventura's Downtown Cultural District. Rubicon Theatre of Ventura opens the company's 15th Anniversary Season, entitled "Our Town/Your Theatre," on October 20, 2012 with La Razon Blindada (The Armored Reason), written and directed by Aristides Vargas. La Razon Blindada comes to Rubicon from 24th Street Theatre in Los Angeles and is produced in association with Mexico's Instituto de Cultura de Baja California and La Universidad Autonoma de Sinaloa. A powerful and poetic story about two political prisoners who transcend their oppressive environs through imaginative improvisation, the show has received international acclaim. La Razon was dubbed the L.A. Weekly 2011 "Production of the Year" and was a "Critic's Choice" in the L.A. Times and "Critic's Pick" in Backstage West.
