ALWAYS...PATSY CLINE Comes To Saint Michaels Playhouse 7/27-31, 8/3-7

The Saint Michael's Playhouse stages ALWAYS . . . PATSY CLINE, concluding the 2010 season of Equity professional summer theater, in the McCarthy Arts Center at Saint Michael's College. The show runs, July 27 - 31 and August 3 - 7, each evening at 8 p.m., with matinees, July 31 and August 7 at 2 p.m.

Jermyn Street Theatre bring back BLACK BREAD & CUCUMBER in a strictly limited season from October 5th to the 23rd after a nine year absence. The play celebrates Anton Chekhov's 150 birthday as Caroline Blakiston does this acclaimed one-woman show about how she made history as the first British actress to play Chekhov in Russia, in Russian.

Miriam Theatre Presents Natalie Merchant, 7/20

On Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at 8pm, Natalie Merchant will perform at the Merriam Theater of the University of the Arts. This appearance is part of her nationwide tour in support of her new album Leave Your Sleep. The tour will be Merchant's first major outing in seven years. Merchant and her eight-piece band will perform new material as well as favorites from throughout her career.

Trevor Nunn will direct the first major London revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber, Don Black and Charles Hart's Aspects of Love at the Menier Chocolate Factory, previewing from 07 July with press night on 15 July and running until 26 September. Designs are by David Farley with choreography by Lynne Page, lighting by Paul Pyant, musical supervision by Caroline Humphris, orchestrations by David Cullen and sound by Gareth Owen. Trevor Nunn previously directed the world premiere of Aspects of Love and returns to the piece to direct this new intimate version.
