Victory Gardens Theater introduces Backstage at the Biograph, a new event series that takes audiences behind-the-scenes for an in-depth look at a unique aspect of the rehearsal process of each production throughout the season. The first Backstage at the Biograph focuses on Sucker Punch by Roy Williams, directed by Dexter Bullard, running September 18 - October 18, 2015. Backstage at the Biograph: Blow-By-Blow highlights the intensive boxing training actors must go through for the production. David Mamet's 'GHOST STORIES' Double Bill Opens Tonight at Atlantic Theater

Atlantic Theater Company presents revivals of Ghost Stories: The Shawl and Prairie du Chien, two haunting short plays by Atlantic co-founder and Pulitzer Prize winner David Mamet. 2015 New York Hot Jazz Fest to Kick Off May 3

Theatre503 Reveals Winners of First Playwriting Award

The inaugural Theatre503 Playwriting Award took a surprise turn today as the judges announced not one but two winners of the much sought-after prize, which had received over 1,600 hopeful applications from 41 countries. Due to the generosity of The Richard Carne Trust and an anonymous donor, Theatre503 was able to offer both playwrights a substantial prize of £6,000 and the guaranteed production of their work at the Battersea venue in 2015.

THE BIG IDEA Discussion Series, Based on New Play HOPE, to Be Held, Dec. 13

The Big Idea - a series of events at the Royal Court inspired by Jack Thorne's new play Hope - will offer audiences the opportunity to engage further with the political issues on stage through provocative discussion and radical thinking. Hope is an urgent, responsive play about where we are right now politically. Directed by John Tiffany, the play attacks the squeeze on local government, examines our disillusionment with the current political parties and asks where we go from here.

The worlds of theatre and journalism collide in Off the Page, a unique new collaboration.
