Amas Musical Theatre's Rosetta LeNoire Musical Theatre Academy (Donna Trinkoff, Producing Artistic Director; Rosetta LeNoire, Founder) will present the Tony Award-Winning musical, THE PAJAMA GAME, by George Abbott and Richard Bissel, music and lyrics by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross, directed by Christopher Scott. THE PAJAMA GAME will open on Friday, May 7 and run through the 16th at the 14th Street Y Theatre (344 East 14th Street).

The time is now. The setting is a downtown Chicago theater, where Jack Shore, a popular TV personality, is appearing one night only in a tribute to his grandfather, Jacob Shemerinsky, great star of the Yiddish Theater.

Jackie Taylor, the Founder and Executive Director of Chicago's Black Ensemble Theater, has been named the recipient of Actors' Equity Association's (Equity) 2010 Rosetta LeNoire Award. The Award will be presented on May 3, 2010 as part of Equity's Central Regional Board Meeting at the Union's Chicago office.

Today, the Lucille Lortel Awards Administration Committee and the Lucille Lortel Foundation announce the recipient of the 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award: Daryl Roth. This honor is conferred to a theatre professional known for their dedication to Off-Broadway. On May 2, 2010, Daryl Roth will join the recipients in the 18 other Lortel Award categories on stage for the 25th Annual Lucille Lortel Awards starting at 8 PM EST at Terminal 5 in New York City.
