In this exciting and relentlessly hyperviolent action film directed by Josh Waller, she stars as a woman forced to do battle with other innocents for the amusement of unseen spectators. Leading in to this special screening and appearance, the Museum will also present a retrospective of her work—chronicling her transformation from stuntwoman to star—in the films Whip It, Death Proof, and Kill Bill: Vol. 1 and Kill Bill: Vol. 2 on January 4 and 5. British artist Charming Baker debuted his largest solo exhibition at Milk Studios in Los Angeles last night. Entitled 'Lie Down I Think I Love You,' the exhibit showcasing new work exploring the unpredictable nature of love, is comprised of 20 paintings as well as prints and sculptures. Baker also unveiled a sculptural installation depicting an oversized plastic toy passenger plane. Never having produced a work on such a scale before, this marks a new phase in the artist's oeuvre.
