The Pasadena Playhouse (Artistic Director Sheldon Epps) presents the World premiere of WATERFALL, an epic new Broadway bound musical love story, starring Emily Padgett (Broadway: Side Show, Rock of Ages), Thom Sesma (Broadway: The Times They are A-Changin', Man of La Mancha), J. Elaine Marcos (Broadway: Annie, Priscilla: Queen of the Desert), and Thai superstar Bie Sukrit and featuring a distinguished international creative team and a cast of 20.

In honor of Les Miserables' opening tonight, BroadwayWord brings you the actors who've taken on the many complex and vocally challenging roles of Victor Hugo's world, from the unscrupulous Thenardiers to innocent Cosette, or principled Javert against the compassionate and strong-willed Jean Valjean. This week there will be two lab presentations in New York City of the new musical, BEHIND THE PAINTING, with book and lyrics by Tony Award-winner Richard Maltby, Jr., music by two-time Tony nominee David Shire, adapted from the Thai musical of the same title, based on the novel by Sriburapha.

Cast members from some of Broadway's biggest hit musicals, including Pippin, Wicked, Jersey Boys, Hairspray, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, American Idiot, Peter and the Starcatcher, and Hands on a Hard Body, will come together for Broadway Against Bullying - a one-night-only holiday cabaret benefitting No Bully and their efforts to bring innovative, sustainable solutions to bullying, harassment and violence in schools - today, December 2 at 7 p.m. at Club Fugazi (home of Steve Silver's Beach Blanket Babylon) in San Francisco.
