The King and I, one of Rodgers and Hammerstein's most treasured musicals, is the next show in the 2013 Music Circus season, at the Wells Fargo Pavilion from August 6 - 11. With book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II and music by Richard Rodgers, the show features the classic songs 'Shall We Dance?,' 'Getting to Know You' and 'Something Wonderful.'

Paper Mill Playhouse is in New Jersey close to a nature reserve and that means CIDADAS. The first time I heard them I thought it was someone's house alarm going off…and then I saw them…squashed along the entire path from the theatre to downtown Millburn. Then, while I was minding my own business., standing outside the stage door before the matinee on Thursday, enjoying a delicious chocolate croissant and iced coffee, I see an enormous, LIVING cicada making himself at home on my leg. I screamed….and I screamed…and then I screamed some more, until sweet Ron Wisniski helped me out and got the darn thing to release and go about its cicada day.

Paper Mill Playhouse has just announced the cast and creative team for Disney's The Little Mermaid, based on the classic animated film of the same title. The American premiere of this brand new production will feature a revamped script, additional songs, a new physical production and an entirely fresh interpretation of the piece. Paper Mill Playhouse's reimagined production will play at partner theaters Kansas City Starlight and Pittsburgh CLO. Disney's The Little Mermaid will be directed by Glenn Casale with original choreography byJohn MacInnis. The cast includes acclaimed Broadway performers: Nick Adams (Prince Eric), Jessica Grove (Ariel), Liz McCartney (Ursula), Alan Mingo, Jr. (Sebastian) and Edward Watts (King Triton). Disney's The Little Mermaid will run at the Millburn, New Jersey, theater from May 29 through June 30, 2013. The official press opening is Sunday, June 2, at 7:00pm. The cast of Riverside Theatre's production of Funny Girl has done a music video to Jazmine Sullivan's song, 'Switch'. Directed and choreographed by Jeffrey Scott Stevens, who played the Ziegfeld Tenor and other ensemble roles, the music video showcases many of the cast members and was shot at various locations in Vero Beach including: the theatre's backstage area (dressing rooms, rehearsal hall), on the beach, poolside, and other locations.
