The Town Hall presents the 4th Annual Summer Broadway Festival created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel for The Town Hall.

TITANIC: THE MUSICAL is just the sort of production that's perfectly suited to the vast expanse the Muny provides. After all, it's a big show, and there's no space quite as mammoth in size and scope as the Muny stage. And, I'm happy to report that their current presentation is a grand and entertaining spectacle that's powered by a top notch cast and sharp direction.

The Muny presents TITANIC The Musical July 5 - 11. It was a cold midnight at sea, and passengers were dancing in the grand salon until one man saw disaster looming. Iceberg...straight ahead. They called the RMS Titanic unsinkable, and more than 2,000 souls bet their lives on it.

The Muny has announced casting for its 2010 summer season, featuring a number of Broadway veterans reprising roles they created on Broadway. Performers include Ken Page, Gary Beach, Stephanie J. Block, Georgia Engel, Ashley Brown and more.

Tuesday, June 29 will mark the 100th birthday of composer and lyricist Frank Loesser. Over the course of his career, Loesser wrote over 700 songs and five Broadway musicals and contributed music and lyrics to dozens of Hollywood films.

Opera Theatre's 2010 spring season opens on Saturday, May 22 and continues for 28 performances through Sunday, June 27 with all-new productions of Mozart's brilliant comedy THE MARRIAGE OF FIGARO, Tchaikovsky's romantic masterpiece EUGENE ONEGIN, Stephen Sondheim's A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, directed and designed by famed designer Isaac Mizrahi, and the world premiere of Peter Ash and Donald Sturrock's THE GOLDEN TICKET, based on Roald Dahl's beloved classic, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
