Tony Award-winning composer of The Visit, John Kander, will sit down with Tony Award winning composer of the upcoming Broadway musical Hamilton, Lin-Manuel Miranda. Tony Award-winner Donna McKechnie is the standby for the lead role of Claire Zachannassian in The Visit, currently playing on Broadway at the Lyceum Theatre (149 West 45th Street). The actress recently spoke to the New York Post about acting as understudy for leading lady Chita Rivera.
The Nora Theatre Company will present Saving Kitty by Marisa Smith, featuring film and television star Jennifer Coolidge, and is directed by Artistic Director Lee Mikeska Gardner. Saving Kitty runs from July 9 through August 2, 2015. The press performance is Monday, July 13 at 7:30PM.

The company of Broadway's The Visit gathered in the studio today, April 27th, to record the musical's original cast album. The Visit is the final musical ever written by legendary Oscar Award, Grammy Award and Tony Award-winning composer John Kander and his writing partner lyricist Fred Ebb, before Mr. Ebb passed away. Produced by the Emmy Award-winning and Grammy nominated producer Michael Croiter (Matilda, Big Fish, Heathers), The Visit album will be released June 26th, 2015. George Takei, who will soon be making his Broadway debut in 'Allegiance' next Fall took in Kander & Ebb's new musical 'The Visit' and made a backstage visit to congratulate Chita Rivera after the show.
