During February of 2016 American blues singer and guitarist Peach Reasoner returned to Copenhagen to play with her band at her favorite club, the cozy Cafe Bartof. Club owners Joacim "Jokke" Friss Holm and Charlotte Bertelsen had graciously agreed that recording equipment could be brought for a live recording session.

In anticipation of his fourth studio album, Los Angeles based Jonny Fritz has shared the video for track “I Love Leaving” today via Funny Or Die. Fritz says of the video, “whenever I feel lousy I can always rely on either leaving town or going down a YouTube wormhole of security cam fail videos.

Jonny Fritz is back with a new album, a new hip, and a new homebase in Los Angeles, CA. The singer/songwriter announced the forthcoming release of full length Sweet Creep today and shared first track “Are You Thirsty” via Rolling Stone Country.

Theatre at the Center is announcing its first season under the leadership of new Artistic Director Linda Fortunato.   Theatre at the Center's 2017 season is comprised of a variety of works ranging from Broadway musicals to a Chicagoland premiere play and a holiday classic.  The season opens with My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra, followed by Kander and Ebb's Tony Award winning Cabaret.  Next will be the Chicagoland premiere of The Tin Woman by Sean Grennan, then Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and closing the season is A Wonderful Life: The Musical.  Jeff award-winner Fortunato will direct three of the five productions.   William Underwood will serve as music director for the season.

New York City Center's Tony-honored Encores! series, led by Artistic Director Jack Viertel and Music Director Rob Berman, begins its 24thseason with Roger Miller's 1985 retelling of Mark Twain's classic novel, Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn; followed by Cole Porter's 1930 Prohibition romp The New Yorkers, and The Golden Apple, John Latouche and Jerome Moross' 1954 reinvention of the Greek epic poems The Iliad and The Odyssey into an all-American fable.
