On Monday, September 20th at 8:00pm, the Bleecker Street Theater Company will present a reading of Charles Messina's astoundingly hilarious new Broadway-bound comedy, 'A ROOM OF MY OWN' as part of that theater's Play Development Series.

Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College opens the 2010-2011 World Stages Series with The Klezmer Conservatory Band on Sunday October 24, 2010 at 2pm.

This past year has certainly been a fun one for Cory English, the scene-stealing actor who portrays the lovably-humpbacked sidekick Igor (pronounced EYE-GOHR, mind you) in the first national tour of Mel Brooks' YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN. Recently, while en route with his family to Costa Mesa-where the show will come to life at The Orange County Performing Arts Center for a two-week engagement starting September 12-English agreed to stop for a brief chat with BroadwayWorld's Michael Lawrence Quintos about life on the road, his first time on Broadway, and how much he loves musical comedy.

Ding Dong, from Sexe et Jalousie by Marc Camoletti, translated by Tudor Gates and directed by Amanda Rees, featuring Clare Adams, Sophia Elisabeth, John Glass, Anna Henare, Elizabeth McGlinn and Tim Raby, will play The Fortune Theatre in its NZ Premiere from August 20th - September 11th 2010.

The glittering, effervescent, tirelessly funny DAME EDNA EVERAGE will light up the John S. and James L. Knight Concert Hall with her purple-hued hair and sassy Aussie wit on April 13 and 14, 2011. The Tony Award-winning dame from Down Under brings her stage show to Miami for two evenings of glitz, glamour, and her signature gladiolas. AN EVENING WITH DAME EDNA is part of the inaugural season of the 2010-2011 Adrienne Arsht Center comedy series, COMEDY PLANET.
