The San Francisco Conservatory of Music announces the appointment of two principal artists from the San Francisco Symphony and San Francisco Opera Orchestra to its woodwind faculty. Carey Bell, principal clarinet with the San Francisco Symphony, and Mingjia Liu, principal oboe with the San Francisco Opera, will begin teaching at SFCM in the fall semester of 2016. With these appointments, SFCM students will have the opportunity to study with a faculty that includes 30 members of the San Francisco Symphony, including 17 principal, associate, and assistant principal players, as well as four principals from the San Francisco Opera and San Francisco Ballet orchestras.

The Cleveland Orchestra and Franz Welser-Most have announced details of the Orchestra's 2015-16 season. The year marks the Orchestra's 98th season and the 14th season with Franz Welser-Most as Music Director.

She had been cast in another LA production several years ago, but she, along with several other cast members left the production early in the process. On March 1st, the controversial and much talked about Stephen Adly Guirgis play opened at The Victory Theatre Center (Big Victory) and will continue through until April 6th. She had been cast in another LA production several years ago, but she, along with several other cast members left the production early in the process. 'This is what I had envisioned,' she said, 'The director's concept, the top notch talent, the passion and commitment of everyone involved...this is art at its best and I can't wait for LA to come out and see it!

Patrick Riviere, who is in the midst of directing the epic drama by Stephen Adly Guirgis, about Judas's trial in a courtroom in Purgatory, is now adding the double duty of also playing The Judge and Caiaphas the Elder after several other actors had film and TV prospects come their way.

Casting has been completed for an AEA production of Stephen Adly Guirgis's play, THE LAST DAYS OFJUDAS ISCARIOT at The Victory Theatre in Burbank produced by Dee Smith and directed by Patrick Riviere.
