New York Choral Society (NYCS) will perform Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle in the newly renovated Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center on February 25 at 8pm. The New York Choral Society (NYCS) announces that John Daly Goodwin will be stepping down following the 2011-2012 season, during which he will celebrate his 25th year as Music Director of the chorus.

The New York Choral Society(NYCS) will join the Opera Orchestra of New York (OONY) for its Fall Gala Concert at Carnegie Hall. Under the baton of the orchestra's new music director Alberto Veronesi, the concert features a star-studded double bill of Massenet's La Navarraise and Mascagni's Cavalleria rusticana. The evening will feature accomplished tenor Roberto Alagna, distinguished soprano Maria Guleghina, and celebrated mezzo-sopranos El?na Garan?a and Mignon Dunn.

The New York Choral Society (NYCS) will perform in a special remembrance concert in honor ofthe September 11 th tragedy. Sponsored by the September Concert Foundation, NYCS will be featured along withthe Cathedral Choir at the magnificent St. Patrick's Cathedral on September 11 th at 7pm.
