Jonathan Broadbent, Matthew Pearson and More Star in GRAND GUIGNOL - Full Cast Announced!

Jonathan Broadbent will star as De Lorde alongside Paul Chequer (Ratineau), Matthew Pearson (Binet), Robert Portal (Paulais), Emily Raymond (Maxa) and Andy Williams (Maurey) in Theatre Royal Plymouth's revival of Grand Guignol. Written by Carl Grose and directed by Simon Stokes, Grand Guignol will return to The Drum from 9 - 18 October before heading to Southwark Playhouse from 23 October - 22 November 2014.

Noel Coward's THIS WAS A MAN Begins Tonight at Finborough Theatre

Banned by the Lord Chamberlain for its facetious and irreverent treatment of adultery, This Was A Man, a previously unseen play by Noel Coward, directed by actress Belinda Lang, opens for its long overdue UK professional premiere in a strictly limited three week season at the Finborough Theatre tonight, 15 July 2014 (Press Night: Thursday, 17 July 2014 at 7.30pm).

Theatre Royal Bath has announced Richard Wilson will star in the final production of its Summer Season, A Little Hotel On The Side directed by Lindsay Posner and Cal McCrystal. Adapted by John Mortimer, this hilarious comedy by Georges Feydeau and Maurice Desvallieres will appear at Theatre Royal Bath from tonight 15th August - Saturday 31st August.

THE LITTLE HUT by André Roussin and adapted by Nancy Mitford will play The Greenwich Theatre April 20-24, The Yvonne Arnaud Theatre April 26-May 1, the Theatre Royal May 4-May 8, and the Rose Theatre May 10-15.

The new cast will feature John Hopkins as Richard Hannay. Other cast members include Stephen Critchlow, Stephen Ventura, and Natalie Walter. The new cast members of the hilarious 100-minute whodunnit begin July 13.

Robert Portal Returns To The Role Of Hannay In THE 39 STEPS

Robert Portal makes a welcome return to the role of Richard Hannay in Patrick Barlow's adaptation of The 39 Steps, directed by Maria Aitken, currently in its third year at the Criterion Theatre. On Monday 2 February he joined the current cast members Tessa Churchard, Alan Perrin and Nigel Betts in this hilarious 100 minute whodunnit. Robert Portal first played Hannay from April to October 2007. Since that time the production has enjoyed incredible UK and international success and he returns to a role which is currently played by 14 actors in as many countries across the world.
