The Ohio Theatre, a pillar of New York's downtown theatre scene for 29 years, will close on August 31, 2010. The new landlord has issued official notice and no further negotiations are scheduled.

The 55th Annual Village Voice OBIE Awards were presented on Monday, May 17, 2010, at a ceremony held at Webster Hall in Manhattan. After a completely sold-out run at the Brick Theatre's Fight Fest, and subsequent sold-out extension, Last Life returns for two-weeks only at the Ohio Theatre (66 Wooster Street located between Spring and Broome) beginning March 4th and ending the 14th running Thursdays - Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 7 pm.
