Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF presents The True Story of the Three Little Pigs from March 27 - April 27, 2014. Based on the popular book by Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith, The True Story of the Three Little Pigs features script and lyrics by Robert Kauzlaric, and music by Paul Gilvary and William Rush. Directed by Steve MacKinnon, the production is presented in the Margeson Theater. Since its inception at Lifeline Theatre in 2007, The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs! has been produced all over the country, by companies such as Children's Theatre of Charlotte, Oregon Children's Theatre, Dallas Children's Theatre, and Atlantic Theater Company (whose production the New York Times called "One of the best children's shows of the year. Case closed."). After being seen in 36 states across the U.S. the past seven years, this production marks the first time the show returns to the Chicago area since its premiere.

Fourteen actors will play over fifty roles in this epic swashbuckler with fights choreographed by Matt Hawkins.

Lifeline Theatre Artistic Director Dorothy Milne announces the addition of the Chicago premiere of The Three Musketeers, an adaptation of the swashbuckling classic by Alexandre Dumas, to close out the company's 2012-13 season. The Three Musketeers replaces the previously announced Bridge of Birds and runs May 31-July 21, 2013.
