Beginning November 18, the Royal Shakespeare Company's acclaimed production of Shakespeare's Henry V will play in select movie houses across North America.  The production, which opened to rave reviews at the RSC's home in Stratford-upon-Avon, was filmed for "Live from Stratford-upon-Avon," the RSC program that screens the world's greatest classical theatre company from Shakespeare's home town around the world through a continued partnership with Picturehouse Entertainment.  

As RSC Executive Director, Catherine Mallyon joins Chancellor George Osborne on his visit to China and the Company opens Gregory Doran's production of Henry V in Stratford-upon-Avon, the RSC is delighted to announce the details for its programme of international cultural, artistic and educational exchange with China.

Gregory Doran, RSC Artistic Director, continues his exploration through Shakespeare's History plays as he directs Henry V, opening in Stratford-upon-Avon, before being broadcast to cinemas and transferring to the Barbican in London. 

THE RSC's The Two Gentlemen of Verona, Shakespeare's early exuberant romantic comedy about friendship and betrayal, was captured live Wednesday September 3, 2014 to be screened in US Cinemas September 20 - October 20, 2014. Directed by Simon Godwin, the production stars Mark Arends (Proteus); Elliot Barnes-Worrell (Outlaw); Martin Bassindale (Speed); Pearl Chanda (Julia); Nicholas Gerard-Martin (Thurio); Robert Gilbert (Outlaw); Jonny Glynn (The Duke of Milan); Molly Gromadzki (Host/Singer); Youssef Kerkour (Sir Eglamour); Sarah MacRae (Silvia); Michael Marcus (Valentine); Roger Morlidge (Launce); Keith Osborn (Antonio); Leigh Quinn (Lucetta) and Simon Yadoo (Panthino/Outlaw). Casting is announced for Simon Godwin's production of The Two Gentlemen of Verona which opens in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon this July with a press night on Tuesday 22 July, before being broadcast live into cinemas worldwide, streamed into schools and transferring to Newcastle Theatre Royal.
