Tamar and Trina Braxton ('Braxton Family Values'), Anthony Anderson ('Law & Order'), Sherri Shepherd ('The View'), Robert Forster ('Jackie Brown') and Kim Coles ('Living Single') will guest star on the first season of TV Land's new series 'The Soul Man,' starring Cedric 'The Entertainer' and Niecy Nash, premiering tonight, June 20 at 10pm ET/PT on TV Land.

EWonline reports that recording artist Cee Lo Green is set to appear as a guest star on the TV Land series THE SOUL MAN. The 'Voice' judge will portray a rival pastor to Cedric The Entertainer's character.

Celebration Theatre presents the third show of its 2011-2012 Season, THE COLOR PURPLE, book by Marsha Norman, music and lyrics by Brenda Russell, Allee Willis and Stephen Bray, musical direction by Gregory Nabours, choreography by Janet Roston and directed by Michael Matthews. ALCATRAZ is premiering on FOX on Monday, January 16, 2012. From executive producer J.J. Abrams (FRINGE, 'Lost,' 'Star Trek,' 'Super 8' and the upcoming 'Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol') and writer Elizabeth Sarnoff ('Lost,' 'Deadwood') comes ALCATRAZ, a chilling new drama revolving around America's most infamous prison, the one-time home to the nation's worst murderers, rapists, kidnappers, thieves and arsonists.

As first reported on TVGuide.com, Michael Eklund, star of 'Fringe' and 'Smallville's' Eric Johnson are set to guest star on Fox's new drama series ALCATRAZ. Both actors will play prisonors who have recently escaped from the famed San Francisco prison.
