Academy and Golden Globe Award winner Melissa Leo will join the cast of the one night only benefit staged reading of celebrated playwright Warren Leight's Tony Award-winning play Side Man, presented by Naked Angels in association with the Guild Hall. As previously announced, the reading will also star acclaimed film, television and theater star Zachary Quinto and original Broadway cast members Jeff Binder, Kevin Geer, Michael Mastro, Angelica Torn, and Tony Award winner Frank Wood. The reading will take place at Guild Hall in East Hampton, NY on Sunday, August 28 at 7pm. Proceeds will go towards Naked Angels' ongoing development of new work.

VH1 announced today that it will air the 17th annual 'Critics' Choice Movie Awards' on Thursday, January 12 at 9:00 PM ET/PT. This year marks the first year that the show will be held on a Thursday and the fifth straight year the network will televise the event. The Village Voice, the nation's first and largest alternative weekly newspaper, announced the judges for the 56th Annual Village Voice Obie Awards. The Voice's chief theater critic, Michael Feingold, will again chair the Obie Awards committee. Joining him will be Voice critic Alexis Soloski and four guest judges: Critic Hilton Als of The New Yorker; playwright David Henry Hwang, a three-time Obie Award winner for his plays F.O.B., Golden Child, and Yellow Face; director Evan Yionoulis, an Obie award winner for her production of Richard Greenberg's Three Days of Rain; and critic Andy Propst, of TheaterMania AmericanTheaterWeb.com (and also a frequent Voice contributor), who will again serve as secretary to the committee.
