Marvel Studios announced today that Robert Downey, Jr. has signed a two-picture agreement to reprise the role of Tony Stark aka Iron Man in Marvel's The Avengers 2 and Marvel's The Avengers 3.

Open Road Films has acquired the U.S. rights to Jon Favreau's new comedy Chef. Financed by Aldamisa Entertainment, the film is based on an original screenplay by Favreau, who will direct and star in the movie.

Samantha Barks, star of the upcoming film LES MISERABLES, is one of six young actors who will be honored with the 'Hollywood Spotlight Award' at this year's Hollywood Film Awards gala ceremony to be held October 22 at the Beverly Hilton. Barks is set to play Eponine in the film version of Les Miserables - the role she played at the 25th anniversary concert.

According to E! News, the trailer for the highly anticipated film IRON MAN 3, which switches the focus back to Stark and Iron Man, will launch online at 12.01am PT on October 23rd.
