The ReRun Project: where the Peoples Improv Theater treats classic rerun scripts with the respect they deserve. Honoring the good ones, screwing with the bad ones, and having a great time with the best TV of the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Created and directed by Guy Olivieri (Greenwich Village Follies) and co-produced by Ryan Duncan (Shrek, Altar Boyz), The ReRun Project: Episode 1 played the Mainstage at the PIT (Peoples Improv Theater) on June 30th, following a successful performance at the PIT in May. The ReRun Project: where we treat classic rerun scripts with the respect they deserve. Honoring the good ones, screwing with the bad ones, and having a great time with the best TV of the 70s, 80s, and 90s.

Gideon Productions Opens FRANKENSTEIN UPSTAIRS, 6/14

Gideon Productions (NYIT Outstanding Premiere Production of a Play Award for Advance Man) will present the World Premiere of playwright Mac Rogers' (The Honeycomb Trilogy; Viral) modern horror story FRANKENSTEIN UPSTAIRS, June 14-30 at The Secret Theatre (44 02 23rd Street, Long Island City). The production will be directed by Jordana Williams (The Honeycomb Trilogy; Viral) and will feature Autumn Dornfeld* (The Graduate on Broadway; Beebo Brinker Chronicles at NYTW), Rob Maitner* (Mr. McQueen in the original cast of Urinetown!), Diana Oh (Rob Askins' P.S. Jones and the Frozen City; Mariah MacCarthy's The Foreplay Play), and Kristen Vaughan* (Amelia in The Honeycomb Trilogy; NYIT Award for Outstanding Actress in a Lead Role for Retro Productions Benefactors). The creative team will include Special Effects by Stephanie Cox-Williams, Costume Design by Amanda Jenks, Sound Design by Jeanne Travis, Lighting Design by Jennifer Linn Wilcox, and Set Design bySandy Yaklin. Randy Harrison, Christian Coulson and More Set for THE CLICK OF THE LOCK Reading

{Your Name Here} A Queer Theater Company is proud to present their second reading of The Click of the Lock, a new play by Justin Sayre (The Meeting*, Night of a Thousand Judys). The evening is co-produced by David Anzuelo and Artistic Director David Macke with special thanks to Labyrinth Theater Company. The cast will feature Brian Barefoot, Joe Beedles, Christian Coulson (Swan!!!, Harry Potter), Sean Dugan ('Smash,' Next Fall), Cole Escola (Logo TV's 'Jeffery & Cole Casserole'), Logan Ford, Randy Harrison (Silence! The Musical, Showtime's 'Queer as Folk'), Rob Maitner (Urinetown, NY Fringe Festival; Bistro Award for Fairy Tales at the WPA Theater), Allen McCullough and Chris Tyler. Mr. Sayre serves as Director. The cast will feature Tyler J. Baranski, Christian Coulson (Harry Potter, SWAN!!!), Cole Escola (Logo TV's 'Jeffery & Cole Casserole'), Logan Ford, Randy Harrison (Silence! The Musical, Showtime's "Queer as Folk"), Rob Maitner (Urinetown, NY Fringe Festival; Bistro Award for Fairy Tales at the WPA Theater) and Allen McCullough. Tony Award nominee Kenny Mellman is the Musical Director with Sayre serving as Director. The show will be held at the Cherry Lane Studio Theater (38 Commerce Street in Manhattan) at 7:00 PM.

Jim Bredeson has announced a concert presentation of excerpts from his new musical EVEN FOR ONE NIGHT as part of the Dixon Place Hot! Festival - The NYC Celebration of Queer Culture. SONDHEIM UNPLUGGED's Final Performance Will Be 11/28

Following nineteen sold out shows, SONDHEIM UNPLUGGED, the acclaimed and award-winning cabaret series, will conclude with a twentieth and final installment on Monday, November 28 at 7pm at The Laurie Beechman Theatre. Sondheim Unplugged is currently celebrating the second year of it's smash run, having begun this journey of celebrating Sondheim in July of 2010.
