THE SOUND OF MUSIC will air on the small screen yet again this holiday season. This time ABC will broadcast the 1965 film version, starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer, on December 22 (7pm).
According to the New York Times, in the first three days of delayed viewing, NBC's SOUND OF MUSIC LIVE! has added close to three million viewers, bringing the total number of viewers to 21.3 million. In addition, the broadcast added another full rating point among the coveted 18 - 49 demographic.
