Jarrod Spector, a Philadelphia native and currently starring asFrankie Valli in the Broadway production of the Tony®, Grammy® and Olivier® Award-winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS, performed the National Anthem prior to the Philadelphia Phillies playoff game vs. the Colorado Rockies, on October 8, at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.

Due to unprecedented box office performance, the Toronto production of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning musical, Jersey Boys, will be extended through January 3, 2010.

The National Touring company of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS will offer a special performance to benefit The Actors Fund on Wednesday, October 28, at 2 p.m. at the National Theatre. Proceeds from all ticket purchases will benefit The Actors Fund, which supports thousands of performing arts and entertainment professionals in need each year around the country.

The Washington, DC engagement of JERSEY BOYS broke the box office record at the National Theatre for the week ending Sunday, October 11, grossing $1,259,040, beating the previous record of $1,138,472.50 set by Spamalot in July 2006.

JERSEY BOYS is the winner of the 2006 Best Musical Tony Award®, the 2006 Grammy Award for Best Musical Show Album, and most recently, the 2009 Olivier Award for Best New Musical.

The Chicago Tribune's Chris Jones is reporting in his 'Theater Loop', that The Bank of America Theatre in Chicago's Loop, which the hit musical JERSEY BOYS calls home, was evacuated around 9 p.m. Tuesday night after police found two suspicious boxes with notes attached in the alley outside the theater.

The cast of JERSEY BOYS will be led by Matt Bailey (Tommy DeVito), Joseph Leo Bwarie (Frankie Valli), Josh Franklin (Bob Gaudio), and Steve Gouveia (Nick Massi) as The Four Seasons, with Jonathan Hadley and Joseph Siravo, a Washington native.

Tickets will go on sale Sunday, May 10, for the Washington, D.C., premiere engagement of JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, playing the National Theatre October 1 through December 12.

Audience members at Tuesday night performances through the month of October (October 6, 13, 20 and 27) will be invited to a brief question and answer session following that evening's performance with the actors who bring this show to life eight times a week. This is the last chance theatergoers will have to get up close and personal with Chicago's JERSEY BOYS before they end their run at the Bank of America Theater on January 10, 2010.
