Peter and the Starcatcher, written by Tony Award nominee Rick Elice, and directed by Tony Award-winner Roger Rees and Tony Award-nominee Alex Timbers, officially begins performances at New World Stages (340 West 50th St.) today, Monday, March 18, 2013, after ending its run on Broadway at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre on Sunday, January 20, 2013.

The Columbus Association for the Performing Arts (CAPA) and Broadway in Columbus (BIC) today announced the 2013-14 Broadway Series 25th anniversary season. From the creators of "South Park" and winner of nine Tony Awards, The Book of Mormon will play a limited two-week engagement May 13-25, 2014. New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director William Russo have announced that the NYTW production of the New York premiere of Belleville, written by Amy Herzog and directed by Anne Kauffman, will extend for two weeks through Sunday, April 14, following rave reviews and sold-out houses. Belleville (originally scheduled to close March 31) plays at NYTW, 79 East 4 Street, between Bowery and Second Avenue.

They are joined by Nicole Lowrance (Molly), Edward Baker-Duly(Lord Aster), Josh Grisetti (Fighting Prawn), Alex Hernandez (Captain Scott), Nate Miller (Ted), Andrew Mueller (Prentiss), Jon Patrick Walker (Mrs. Bumbrake),Jordan Geiger, Joanna Howard, and Graham Stevens. The press opening is Tuesday, March 19 at 7:30 p.m.

The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel welcomes Tony Award-Winner John Lloyd Young for his Cafe Carlyle debut where he will perform his program 'My Turn.' Mr. Young opens at the Cafe Carlyle through February 23rd where he will be joined by GLEE music producer Tommy Faragher as his music director with a seven piece band including Mr. Faragher on piano/keyboards, John Putnam on guitar, Paul Socolow on bass, Eric Kalb on drums, Goke Erem on violin, Eddy Malave on viola, and Leigh Stuart on Cello.
