Updates Announced For NJPAC's 2010-11 Season, Debuts 9/22

The New Jersey Performing Arts Center raises the curtain on an exciting, expanded 2010-11 season on September 22, 2010 when classical piano superstar Lang Lang returns to NJPAC's Prudential Hall stage, which has been dubbed one of his favorite places in the world to play, as a soloist on two works, Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3 in c, Op. 37, and Liszt's virtuosic Piano Concerto No. 1 in E-flat Major, with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, led by Jacques Lacombe in his second performance as the NJSO's new Music Director.

North Coast REP presents a full evening of soulful, acoustic music that you will no doubt leave you spellbound! Indie singers/songwriters, Jenn Grinels and Meghan Andrews, will be in concert one night only on Monday, September 20th. In addition to the live performance, there will be a special Happy Hour with $1 Stone Ales and a FREE Happy Hour Buffet. The Happy Hour begins at 5:30PM and the concert follows at 7:30PM.

Steve says, 'Allyn and I know each other from way back in the ‘70s in Benaras. She is a marvelous sitarist with a sensitive and lyrical touch. Samir Chatterjee travels the world accompanying all the great Indian artists, and it's always a delight to perform with him. Together, our trio ensemble has performed many times over the past ten years.'
