Astoria Performing Arts Center is pleased to announce their production of the Stephen Schwartz musical Children of Eden, choreography by Christine O'Grady, musical direction by Lilli Wosk, and directed by Tom Wojtunik.

Artistic Director Robert Falls announced today that the Chicago premiere of the Tony Award-winning God of Carnage, Yasmina Reza's 'savvy and deliciously caustic new comedy of urban ill-manners' (Chicago Tribune) and Broadway sensation, will take place at Goodman Theatre starting March 5, 2011.

The city-wide Seattle Celebrates Bernstein Arts Festival continues throughout May with six of the region's diverse arts groups producing works written and inspired by the legendary composer/conductor. The Festival focuses on the multi-faceted genius of Leonard Bernstein - composer, writer, conductor, thinker, media personality, and educator-in events that spotlight this uniquely American artist's legacy as well as showcase the wealth and wonder of Seattle's world class arts scene.

The 5th Avenue Theatre has announced the cast for our upcoming production of Leonard Bernstein's Candide, directed by the 5th's Executive Producer and Artistic Director David Armstrong. Starring in the title role is New York actor Stanley Bahorek, who's performed in the national tour of Big River and on Broadway in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

Theatre Communications Group (TCG) is pleased to announce publication of the first two books in their new paperback series of Richard Wilbur's world-renowned English verse translations of five Moliere comedies, gems of French neo-classical drama, for years available only in acting editions. The series' four volumes include a foreword by John Simon; an interview with Wilbur, by Dana Gioia; as well as Wilbur's introductions to the plays, and cover designs by Chip Kidd. Together, they will complete the trade publication of these vital theatrical works.
