Unbound Productions Executive Director Jonathan Josephson, Artistic Director Paul Millet, and Producing Artistic Director Jeff G. Rack have announced details for WICKED LIT 2014, the 6th annual immersive theatre event that will take place at Mountain View Mausoleum and Cemetery in Altadena, California.
Playwright Ken Ludwig (Lend Me a Tenor, Moon Over Buffalo as well as Leading Ladies) is one of a dying breed of American farceurs. How many presently exist? In the UK, yes, there are many. Farce is their specialty, but not in the US. So, that given, Leading Ladies is a uniquely special ode to the theatre, to Shakespeare and to that band of traveling actors who make little money but devote their lives to entertain us, and to comedy put forth at a breakneck pace. Thanks to Ken Ludwig and his Leading Ladies our lives are that much brighter. Now in an especially exhilarating production at GCT James Castle Stevens skillfully guides a fiercely talented cast through August 16.

Wicked Lit will present H.P. Lovecraft's The Lurking Fear, adapted by Jeff G. Rack and Jonathan Josephson, and directed by Paul Millet from October 4 - November 2. Friday-Sunday, Oct 4-6; Thursday-Sunday, Oct 10-13; Thursday-Sunday, Oct 17-20; Thursday-Sunday, Oct 24-27; Wednesday-Saturday, Oct 30-Nov 2. Rack have announced the line-up and casting for two full productions of the popular horror story adaptation series WICKED LIT that will take place at Mountain View Mausoleum and Cemetery in Altadena, California. Production A (October 21-November 5, 2011) will consist of a remount of three plays that the theatre company produced as part of last year's engagement: Charles Dickens' The Chimes, H.P. Lovecraft's The Unnamable and Edgar Allan Poe's The Cask of Amontillado.
