Unbound Productions Executive Director Jonathan Josephson, Artistic Director Paul Millet, and Producing Artistic Director Jeff G. Rack have announced details for WICKED LIT 2014, the 6th annual immersive theatre event that will take place at Mountain View Mausoleum and Cemetery in Altadena, California. The production will run from October 3-November 8, 2014.

Playwright Ken Ludwig (Lend Me a Tenor, Moon Over Buffalo as well as Leading Ladies) is one of a dying breed of American farceurs. How many presently exist? In the UK, yes, there are many. Farce is their specialty, but not in the US. So, that given, Leading Ladies is a uniquely special ode to the theatre, to Shakespeare and to that band of traveling actors who make little money but devote their lives to entertain us, and to comedy put forth at a breakneck pace. Thanks to Ken Ludwig and his Leading Ladies our lives are that much brighter. Now in an especially exhilarating production at GCT James Castle Stevens skillfully guides a fiercely talented cast through August 16.

If you're a fan of live theatre, love the spirit of Halloween and are intrigued at the thought of great pieces of literature brought to life, then Wicked Lit might be the bubbling cauldron for you! The horror story adaptation series takes place within the creepy and beautiful walls of the Mountain View Mausoleum in Altadena and even ventures into the stillness of the cemetery. Yup, you'll really be surrounded by actual dead people all night.

Wicked Lit will present H.P. Lovecraft's The Lurking Fear, adapted by Jeff G. Rack and Jonathan Josephson, and directed by Paul Millet from October 4 - November 2. Friday-Sunday, Oct 4-6; Thursday-Sunday, Oct 10-13; Thursday-Sunday, Oct 17-20; Thursday-Sunday, Oct 24-27; Wednesday-Saturday, Oct 30-Nov 2. A celebration of 65 years as the oldest, continuously operating theatre in the United States, the Glendale Centre Theatre (GCT) couldn't have better kicked its 2012 season into high gear than by mounting Philip Van Doren Stern's adaptation of the Frank Capra classic motion picture It's a Wonderful Life… a beautiful testament to ordinary people who, through the course of doing what they think is right, become everyday heroes who touch the lives of the friends, family, and neighbors around them. Director Diedra Celeste Miranda and producers Brenda and Tim Dietlein have faithfully and lovingly brought this classic piece of celluloid to life on their intimate, but sizeable in-the-square stage surrounded by nearly 400 seats.

Production A (October 21-November 5, 2011) will consist of a remount of three plays that the theatre company produced as part of last year's engagement: Charles Dickens' The Chimes, H.P. Lovecraft's The Unnamable and Edgar Allan Poe's The Cask of Amontillado.
