In honor of this week's buzz about Colin Firth headlining a Broadway revival, we turn our attention to Golden Age classic MY FAIR LADY.

Artists Repertory Theatre will bring its 2014/15 season to close with The Liar, an adaptation of Pierre Cornielle's 17th Century French comedy from the brilliant mind of David Ives, a playwright best known for hilarious adaptations and plays such as All In The Timing and Venus in Fur.

The New Group has announced three productions for its 2015-2016 Season.  The company's new season kicks off in Summer 2015 with the Off-Broadway premiere of Philip Ridley's Mercury Fur, directed by Scott Elliott.  The season continues in Fall 2015 with the world premiere of Mark Gerrard's Steve, with director Cynthia Nixon returning to The New Group, where she made her directorial debut earlier this year.  In Winter 2016, Scott Elliott directs Sam Shepard's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Buried Child, featuring Ed Harris and Amy Madigan, who return to The New Group with this production.

42nd Street Moon announces SONG OF A SUMMER NIGHT, a fundraising gala starring television star and Tony Award-winner Laura Benanti. The event includes cocktails, a live auction, dinner, and a "Moonlight Lounge" with Musical Director Dave Dobrusky and other 42nd Street Moon performers.  Cocktail attire is encouraged. The evening takes place 6pm, Monday, June 1 at Bimbo's 365 Club, 1025 Columbus Ave, San Francisco.

The New Group has announced complete casting for the world premiere production of The Spoils, a new play written by and featuring Jesse Eisenberg, directed by Scott Elliott. This production will feature Erin Darke, Annapurna Sriram and Michael Zegen, and as previously announced, Jesse Eisenberg and Kunal Nayyar.

Geffen Playhouse announces Ari Brand (Broadway The Neil Simon Plays; Off-Broadway My Name is Asher Lev), Molly Ephraim (ABC's Last Man Standing, Broadway Into the Woods, Fiddler on the Roof; film Paranormal Activity), Lili Fuller (Hulu's Complete Works) and Raviv Ullman (Off-Broadway Sticks and Bones, title character in Disney's Phil of the Future) as the cast for its West Coast premiere production of Bad Jews by Joshua Harmon, directed by Matt Shakman, who is the artistic director of the Black Dahlia Theatre, a Geffen playhouse alumni (Good People, Wait Until Dark) and a noted television director (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Mad Men).

Jennifer Coolidge (American Pie, Legally Blonde, 2 Broke Girls), Alexander Hanson (Stephen Ward the Musical, Jesus Christ Superstar, A Little Night Music) and Stefanie Powers (Hart to Hart, The Girl From U.N.C.L.E) with Alistair Brammer (Miss Saigon, War Horse, LES MISERABLES) and Laura Pitt-Pulford (The Sound Of Music, Marry Me A Little, The Light Princess) join Christine Baranski (Into The Woods, The Good Wife, Mamma Mia), Anita Dobson (EastEnders, Chicago) Anita Harris (Carry On Doctor & Follow That Camel, Cats), Ruthie Henshall (original Roxy in Chicago, Les Misérables), Roy Hudd (Fagan in Oliver!, Coronation Street, Good Old Days) and Russell Watson (the UK's best selling classical artist ever; winner of four Classical BRIT awards), in Follies in Concert, with The City of London Philharmonic Orchestra, at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall.

Just last night, The New Group featured original cast members from the company's critically-acclaimed 2005 hit revival of Hurlyburly: Bobby Cannavale, Josh Hamilton, Ethan Hawke, Parker Posey and Wallace Shawn, with Marin Ireland and Amanda Seyfried. Directed by Scott Elliott, this benefit reading took place at The Pershing Square Signature Center (The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre, 480 West 42nd Street).

The reading is open to the public with a suggested donation of $5.00.
