Concerts for City Greens, the free outdoor concert series that brings the sounds of music to the heart of Midtown, will add flashes of comedy as several quick-silvered wits join the musical mix on Wednesday June 20 at 6:30pm at Tudor City Greens.

Peggy Herman released a brand new recording of "Herman on Herman," her tribute to Broadway legend Jerry Herman, at Feinstein's at the Loews Regency, on Sunday May 6. The one-night-only concert featured many of the songs from the show's premiere in May of last year, plus additional material that was added to the project in the intervening months. On Tuesday, March 20, acclaimed cabaret vocalist Terese Genecco celebrated the third anniversary of her monthly shows at Iridium Jazz Club with a launch party for her new CD release, 'Terese Genecco & Her Little Big Band: Live from the Iridium NYC.'

Terese Genecco's second CD release is a wonderfully polished production that is a tribute to her musical heroes, including Frank, Dean, Sammy, Marilyn Maye and Mel Torme.

Reissa, one of the world's most important interpreters of Yiddish song, will perform in her only New York City appearance this year at the Museum of Jewish Heritage - A Living Memorial to the Holocaust. Her band of musical luminaries is led by Frank London of the Klezmatics and features Marty Confurius on the upright bass; Rex Benincasa on percussion and drums; slide trombone player Brian Drye; and pianist and accordion player Patrick Farrell.
