Haven Theatre has announced two of the three productions featured in its upcoming 2017-18 Season, including one world premiere - plus an exciting Midwest premiere already set for the company's 2018-19 Season.
Pegasus Theatre Chicago is proud to announce MUSE 2017: Femmes Noires de la Resistance, July 13 - 23 at Pegasus's resident home Chicago Dramatists, 773 N. Aberdeen. This year's MUSE celebrates new works, new artists and new voices with this annual series of theatrical readings, panels and performances featuring female artists intersecting ideas, visions and artistic excellence.
Due to popular demand, Shattered Globe Theatre's hit Chicago premiere of Sarah Ruhl's FOR PETER PAN ON HER 70th BIRTHDAY will add one additional week of performances, extending through May 27, 2017 at Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont Ave. in Chicago. Directed by Jessica Thebus, the imaginative and moving drama was written for Ruhl's mother, Kathleen Ruhl, who stars in the Shattered Globe production. Shattered Globe Theatre will conclude its 2016-17 Season with the Chicago premiere of Sarah Ruhl's FOR PETER PAN ON HER 70th BIRTHDAY, written for her mother Kathleen Ruhl, a Chicago actress who played Peter Pan onstage as a teenager and stars in SGT's production. Directed by Jessica Thebus, FOR PETER PAN ON HER 70th BIRTHDAY will run through May 20, 2017 at Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont Ave. in Chicago.
