The School of Visual Arts (SVA), celebrates its 27th Dusty Awards on May 10 at the SVA Theatre (333 West 23rd Street)-beginning with a red carpet event from 5:30-6:30pm and culminating with a private awards ceremony, which begins at 6:30pm.?

Reeves Lehmann, chair of the BFA Film & Video and BFA Animation programs at the School of Visual Arts (SVA), announced today that the 26th Dusty Film & Animation Festival will be held in New York City, Saturday, May 9 through Tuesday, May 12, 2015.

Barefoot Theatre Company and the SVA Film Department (Reeves Lehmann, Chair) presents the 15th Anniversary star-studded Barefoot Gala & Awards Ceremony produced by Artistic Director Francisco Solorzano (Floating Sunflowers, Love Simple, Sins of the Mother), Producing Director Christopher Whalen (Sins of the Mother, PS. I Love You), Associate Producing Director Danelle Eliav (Emoticon; Carnival Kids) and company members Raye Levine (Pirate, Other Histories) and Daniella Rabbani (Nina at Primary Stages).

School of Visual Arts (SVA) announced the winners of its 2013 Dusty Film & Animation Festival and Awards, now in its 24th year, at an awards ceremony held May 7, 2013 at New York City's SVA Theatre (333 W. 23rd Street). Highlighting the work of more than 150 filmmakers and animators graduating from the BFA Film, Video and Animation Department, the annual awards were bestowed at the invite-only event. The four-day event will showcase more than 100 films and animations from thesis students graduating this spring. Annie Flocco, independent producer/filmmaker and SVA faculty member, will produce the event; Meredith Engstrom will co-produce.
