Photo Flash: In Rehearsal with the New Cast of West End's MAMMA MIA! - Alice Stokoe, Rebecca Lock & More!

Following the recent 15th birthday celebrations for MAMMA MIA! in London, there will be major cast changes from Monday 9 June 2014. Rebecca Lock will be joining the cast as Rosie, Alasdair Harvey as Harry, Charles Daish as Bill and Alice Stokoe as Sophie Sheridan and Lloyd Green as Sky. Also joining the cast from 9 June will be Rosanna Bates as Ali, Brodie McBride as Lisa, James Alexander Gibbs as Pepper and James Alan-Evans as Eddie. Dianne Pilkington will continue to star as Donna Sheridan, with Kim Ismay as Tanya and Richard Trinder as Sam. At certain performances, the role of Donna Sheridan will be played by Shona White. West End Stars to Perform the Songs of Steven Luke Walker, Including Jordan Lee Davies, Ellie Kirk, & Anna McGarahan, March 23

On Sunday 23rd March at St James Studio the stars of the West End will sing songs of Steven Luke Walker; featuring Alice Fearn, Rob Houchen, Rebecca Lock, Scott Garnham, Jordan Lee Davies, Ellie Kirk, Anna McGarahan, Elissa Clare Morgan, Martin Dickinson, Alastair Barron, and the GSA/The Union Theatre cast of 'Little Women'. Facilitated by ILIADebuts in association with create entertainment the concert starts at 7pm and tickets are available from £12.50-£25 at http://www.stjamestheatre.co.uk/events/the-songs-of-steven-luke-walker/ or by calling the box office on 0844 264 2140. Steven's work was performed at St James Studio in September last year alongside Jonathan Reid Gealt and Craig Adams. This will be an acoustic night dedicated solely to Steven's portfolio of work which is steeped in epic storytelling, sublime vocal writing and beautiful scoring as well as a self indulgent moment or two.

On Sunday March 9th, London-based production company KiwiFruits Productions returns to the St James Theatre with four of the West End's most acclaimed female vocalists, Louise Dearman (Wicked, Evita), Annalene Beechey (Disney's Beauty And The Beast, Wicked), Rebecca Lock (Dear World, Avenue Q) and Laura Pitt-Pulford (The Light Princess, Parade), in an exclusive one-night-only tribute concert dedicated to an Entertainment Industry Legend, the iconic BARBRA STREISAND.

BWW Interviews: Talking with Chess' James Fox

Chess is nearing the end of its 6 week pre-West End run at Toronto's Princess of Wales Theatre, and today BWW speaks with James Fox, who plays Freddy in the production. James talks to us about the challenges working on such a vocally demanding show, preparation for singing Pity the Child and director Craig Revel Horwood.

Chess opened on Wednesday, September 28th in Toronto after enjoying a sold-out tour in the UK. This lavish new production comes direct from England, and will play a limited engagement in Toronto before heading to London's West End. Directed by Strictly Come Dancing's Craig Revel Horwood and featuring a cast of some of the UK's most talented stage actors, the production is a feast for the eyes and ears. Sir Tim Rice was in Toronto for opening night, and BWW was on hand to bring you pictures of the curtain call.
