The MainStreet Theatre Company will end its 6th season with an adaptation of Madeleine L'Engles' Newberry Award winning classic A Wrinkle in Time. The book is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, and The MainStreet Theatre Company was awarded a grant from the National Endowment of the Arts to help support the production. Performances run from May 5th - May 20th at Rancho Cucamonga's Lewis Family Playhouse in the Victoria Gardens Cultural Center. The adaptation is by John Glore, and it will be directed by Robert Castro.
Groundbreaking playwright Enrique Urueta's Learn To Be Latina is an uproarious romantic comedy that uses humor to explore issues of gender, race and identity, popular culture and fame. Performances begin November 11, 2011.
A co-production with California Shakespeare Theater, The Triumph of Love runs September 22 - October 21, 2007, at San Jose Repertory Theatre, located in downtown San Jose at 101 Paseo de San Antonio. Preview performances are September 22, 23, 26 & 27; Opening is Friday, September 28 at 8PM.
