Skylight Music Theatre opens the 2017-18 season with Hot Mikado, a swinging version of Gilbert & Sullivan's comic masterpiece The Mikado, running Friday, September 29 through Sunday, October 15, 2017 in the Cabot Theatre at the Broadway Theatre Center, 158 N. Milwaukee Repertory Theater's hit new production of A Christmas Carol, broke box office records last week during the Wednesday, July 19, 2017 on-sale.  

Milwaukee Repertory Theater announces the return of the popular One Day Sale for the hit new adaptation of the holiday favorite A Christmas Carol on Wednesday, July 19.  The One Day Sale on Wednesday, July 19 offers up to a 25% discount on all tickets when using promotional code SNOW.  Tickets can be purchased at www.MilwaukeeRep.com, by calling The Rep's Ticket Office at 414-224-9490 or in-person at 108 East Wells Street in downtown Milwaukee. A Christmas Carol runs November 28 - December 24 in the historic Pabst Theater.  A Christmas Carol is presented by Wells Fargo.

Milwaukee Repertory Theater's 2017/18 Season is filled with timeless classics, award-winning contemporary works and full-scale musicals spanning 13 productions in four theaters. While casting is heavily underway for all shows, here is a first glimpse into what audiences can look forward to next season.  Complete casting and creative teams to be announced soon.

At an announcement party held today, Artistic Director Ray Jivoff unveiled Skylight Music Theatre's 2017-18 Season line-up of 'firsts' -- five shows that have never been produced at Skylight. 

The Marcus Center Presents series, sponsored by Envoy Restaurant and Lounge, is thrilled to bring Hooray for Hollywood! A Big Band Celebration of Classic Hollywood Musicals featuring Dick Strauss with the Many Happy Returns Orchestra on Saturday, May 20 at 2:00 pm. This performance will also feature Rana Roman and The Radio Rosies in the Wilson Theater at Vogel Hall.

What could be a better holiday gift to Milwaukee than a World Premiere adaptation of Dickens' beloved A Christmas Carol? On Friday night, Artistic Director Mark Clements opened his resplendent adaptation for the Milwaukee Repertory Theater in the gorgeous Pabst Theatre. In this innovative adaptation by Clements in collaboration with a stunning artistic team, the production renewed holiday magic in the company's 41st year for the city that Clements and The Rep call home.

A dynamic young performer cast recreates Lincoln Peirce's popular cartoon characters set in Kristen Ellhert's magical stage design where lights flash, videos display Nate's drawings and sets swing from classroom to home in mere seconds.

Oh, the glories of being 11 and going to middle school! An age and time between childhood and young adulthood where the classroom represents an entire, eternal lifetime in one day. Cartoonist Lincoln Peirce invented a comic strip in 1991 around the adventures of 11-year-old Nate Wright, his father, family and friends that soared to popularity over the last 20 years. First Stage brings these comic book characters to Milwaukee's Todd Wehr Theatre when BIG NATE: THE MUSICAL opens on February 27.
