Broadway stars and top Philadelphia talent come together for a one-night only concert reading of Urinetown: The Musical on Tuesday, August 18th at 7:30pm.

Arden Theatre Company hosts its Master Storyteller Award ceremony and concert tonight, June 1, 2015. The award will be bestowed upon Composer and Lyricist Stephen Sondheim, who will accept the award at a ticketed ceremony and concert, which is a fundraising benefit for the Arden's extensive educational and outreach programs. Composer and Lyricist Jason Robert Brown will present Mr. Sondheim with the award.

Guts and glory storm the stage in full leather boots as The Philadelphia Artists' Collective (PAC) embarks on a sweeping adventure tale with Thomas Heywood's The Fair Maid of the West at Broad Street Ministries (315 S. Broad Street). This long-submerged theatrical treasure rides the waves with dashing heroes, treacherous villains, plucky heroines and love on the high seas. Charlotte Northeast directs a well-known cast lead by Barrymore Award winner Rachel Camp as Bess, the Fair Maid of the West who will stop at nothing to be with Adam Altman's Spencer. There's love, danger and enough buffoonery to warm any heart.

Opening Night is February 12 at 7:30 p.m. The theatre has assembled a cast of local all-stars to tell this timeless tale about the sacrifices we make to see our dreams come true. The seven performers of Philadelphia-based company Team Sunshine Performance Corporation engage in a contemporary ritual of memory and forecasting, tracking time through first-person storytelling, performance art, physical theater, music and dance in the world premiere of The Sincerity Project, directed by Alex Torra. On stage today, December 4-13 at FringeArts' waterfront headquarters (140 N. Columbus Blvd.), The Sincerity Project is the first of 8 planned iterations over 24 years of this 'anti-play.'

The award will be presented to Robert Ciminelli, VP of Customer Experience and a Walnut Street Theatre Trustee, at its annual Gala. The evening's events will begin with a 90-minute concert hosted by Ben Lipitz, who Walnut audiences will remember from The Producers and God of Carnage. Featuring some of Philadelphia's favorite performers, including Rachel Beiswenger, Rachel Camp, Jeffrey Coon, Ben Dibble, Jennie Eisenhower, Sarah Gliko, Scott Langdon, Mary Martello, Ben Michael, Cary Michele Miller, Ellie Mooney, Michael Philip O'Brien, Lyn Philistine, Fran Prisco, Christopher Sutton, Tara Tagliaferro, Lilly Tobin and Denise Whelan, voices will fill the theatre with unforgettable musical moments from stage and screen.
