Theatre Horizon will kick off their 12th season with a production of William Finn and James Lapine's heartfelt and hilarious autobiographical musical, A New Brain. This energetic musical runs October 13-November 6th at Theatre Horizon.

Theatre Philadelphia has announced the nominees for the 2016 Barrymore Awards for Excellence in Theatre.

Arden Theatre Company announces Cabaret of Duets, a performance for Arden Drama School teens and local professional actors, on Monday, December 14 at 8pm. The performance takes place at the Arden's Hamilton Family Art Center at 62 N. 2nd Street in Old City, Philadelphia.

This evening, in a celebration attended by almost 750 theatre artists, staff, critics, and friends, Theatre Philadelphia distributed 26 awards at the 2015 Barrymore Awards for Excellence in Theatre - now in its second successful season since relaunching in fall 2013. The Awards Ceremony was held at the Merriam Theater, followed by an After-Party at Dorrance Hamilton Hall at the University of the Arts. A full list of award recipients is below.

The Flat Rock Playhouse 2015 season will continue with the delightful feel-good musical Pump Boys & Dinettes, which will run from October 1st through October 25th on the Clyde & Nina Allen Mainstage in the village of Flat Rock.

Broad Street). This long-submerged theatrical treasure rides the waves with dashing heroes, treacherous villains, plucky heroines and love on the high seas. Charlotte Northeast directs a well-known cast lead by Barrymore Award winner Rachel Camp as Bess, the Fair Maid of the West who will stop at nothing to be with Adam Altman's Spencer. There's love, danger and enough buffoonery to warm any heart.

The seven performers of Philadelphia-based company Team Sunshine Performance Corporation engage in a contemporary ritual of memory and forecasting, tracking time through first-person storytelling, performance art, physical theater, music and dance in the world premiere of The Sincerity Project, directed by Alex Torra. On stage today, December 4-13 at FringeArts' waterfront headquarters (140 N. Columbus Blvd.), The Sincerity Project is the first of 8 planned iterations over 24 years of this 'anti-play.'
