Warren Beatty will receive the American Film Institute's (AFI) 36th Life Achievement Award in a special ceremony airing on Wednesday, June 25 at 9/8C on USA Network.
The event will feature tributes from a number of Beatty's friends and colleagues-including Halle Berry, Don Cheadle, Faye Dunaway, Jane Fonda, Dustin Hoffman, Diane Keaton and Barbra Streisand among others. In addition, there will be special tributes from Gene Hackman, Goldie Hawn, Harvey Keitel, George McGovern, Quentin Tarantino and others. The evening will also feature performances from Pras and Earl Scruggs.

Manhattan Theatre Source will be presenting All the Rage, written by Keith Reddin and directed by Daryl Boling. It will run from July 30th to August 3rd 2008 Wednesday through Saturday at 8PM.

Further casting has been announced for the two night only concert version of the smash hit London musical Jerry Springer The Opera which will play Carnegie Hall for two nights only on January 29 and 30, 2008. Academy Award nominated actor Harvey Keitel will star in the title role in Jerry Springer - The Opera in Concert. The smash hit musical and historic four-time winner of London's Best Musical prizes will play Carnegie Hall for two nights only on Tuesday, January 29 and Wednesday, January 30, 2008.

Robin de Levita, Dragone and The Firm have announced the creative team for CARMEN: The Musical, based on the classic 1845 novel by Prosper Mérimée, directed by Franco Dragone. With music by John Ewbank, and a book by Sarah Miles, a developmental staging will be work-shopped later this year, with a Broadway production targeted for the 2006/07 season.
